Our Arts & Entertainment page is all about providing culture and creating a fantasy world far away from our own. Artists and entertainers work hard to give us the “pick me up” some of us need when our own lives are not going as planned.
Now here’s Arts & Entertainment at its best – – – FAMILY TIME. There is nothing better than a family get-together where there is plenty of fun, food, and fellowship! How big is your dining room table? What about your eating area? How big is your family? And, after the meal there are sweets. And, after the sweets there are games of all kinds. In our family it is called “Making Memories”. We share recipes, take pictures, and tell Remember When stories!
No kitchen is complete without its Kitchen DooDads! There are so many unique, creative and functional kitchen helps (DooDads we call them) out there. We enjoy, yes we (includes my husband but don’t let him know I spilled the beans!), love shopping online and even at those kitchen gadget stores you find about anywhere you go shopping. Usually there is a reason for our family celebrations. Graduation, birthday, wedding, funeral (yes, we call those a celebration of life). So, it also means gifts. What to get, what to get? Let’s find something unusual for that graduate. Something they wouldn’t have purchased for themselves and still something they can’t imagine being without. So, Arts & Entertainment, Doesn’t This Say it All?
Everyone eats. Even though we don’t all cook or use recipes, we are still exposed to recipes, and we all have our favorites. There are some wonderful recipes paired with some wonderful wines here. If you read our home page, this is yet another example of our fantastic online family and community. Since we are not wine connoisseurs, we have absolutely no clue what to serve with what wine! But I guarantee someone in our family here will come to the rescue.
We all buy or receive gifts, right? Besides finding the perfect gift for the perfect person and their perfect celebration – you automatically have a conversation topic! There have been a number of times where I have been in a small cluster of people and the silence was deafening! There was no conversation.
